The Moxie Story

Moxie Salon & Beauty Bar was started in NJ by twins Jenn and Jamie Dunn. The idea actually came to them when they were in second grade and they decided they wanted to have the biggest and best salon in the country. When the teacher asked them what they wanted to be when they grew up, they drew a picture of themselves in the salon doing people’s hair. (They still have that picture, by the way!) “We always knew that we could create a feel-good place for people to come,” says co-founder Jamie. “Moxie is positive energy and that is what you feel when you enter our doors.”

Moxie believes that everyone can look like an A-list celebrity with the help of the Moxie team. They use a team base model and stylists all work together on clients.
