am so excited you're here. After I had my first daughter, I began to realize the importance of photographs and videos. I felt that time was moving at lightning speed and I didn't like it! Now I have 5 amazing littles and guess what? None of them listen to me when I tell them to relax with all the growing up.

My life completely revolves around my family. I have five young kids, all under 8 years old, who really keep me on my toes. (Am I ever not being asked for snacks?!) During the week, you will find me carting them to and from school or to their various activities like an Uber driver (or getting them snacks...send help). Our favorite things to do together as a family in the winter are watching movies in front of a fire, drinking hot chocolate, or reading books; and in the summer, swimming at the lake or in our pool, going on adventures and exploring, and riding bikes. Neighbors have been known to ask, "Is there a parade in town that I don't know about?" when we are walking down the street. Life is crazy and perfectly imperfect!

One of my absolute favorite things to do with my kids (and clients!) is to chase sunsets. I am drawn to them like a magnet. I love finding locations where light is the star-- it makes everybody look so good! When the world is bathed in beautiful, golden light, I am popping my kids into the car and driving to one of my many favorite places to photograph them.
My ideal evening would honestly be taking pictures of my kids at sunset in a wildflower meadow. Throw in a few timeless, antique-looking props and you've got yourself my definition of perfection.

I have always loved reading. My parents used to call me Belle, from Beauty and the Beast, because my head was always stuck in a book. My favorite authors are Stephen King, Toni Morrison, and Neil Gaiman. My favorite genre of all time is probably historical fiction. I never realized how interesting history is until I started reading historical fiction and learning about it that way.
If I could live in a dream place, it would have a huge library in it with one of those ladders that helps you get to the higher books. Oh, and it would have a secret bookcase passageway in it, too. And huge windows that let it in the most beautiful light, of course.

Family films are so important to me as a mom that, of course, I had to make one for MY family! I am a volunteer chef for the non-profit organization called Lasagna Love and I wanted to remember how much my kids love to eat, make, and help me deliver lasagnas each week! You can get to know me and my children a little bit better through this film.
Kristine was recommended by a friend after she had done their gender reveal and newborn shoot. Safe to say she did NOT disappoint when we booked her for our own newborn shoot with our daughter!
Kristine was not only super professional but also made us feel so comfortable. Our photos came out incredible! We loved them so much we decided to use her again for our fall family photoshoot. My husband and I had adopted our son without any notice (24 hours) and needed to get newborn/family photos booked asap. I’m so lucky that it was a slower time of year and Kristine was able to squeeze me in. Not only did she work us into her schedule with little notice, she drove down to my house an hour away during a snow storm…now that’s commitment! She was very patient with our son and was able to capture the perfect moments of our family. We were obsessed with all the photos and she really did capture all the best moments using just natural light. We couldn’t have been happier to work with this wonderful young lady. Kristine was such a pleasure to work with so soon after the birth of our son. She made the newborn photoshoot experience so perfect and amazing. It was really helpful that she came to our house for the photoshoot, rather than us traveling with a newborn while we were still getting used to our bearings and adjusting to having a newborn. The turnaround in receiving the edits was also very quick - we were very impressed with how fast the whole process was and how quickly we had the final edits in our inbox/hands. Kristine is amazing! I first met her at the Mother’s Day photo shoot and she took the most beautiful pictures of me and my little one despite us dealing with a cranky baby who had just woken up from a nap :D! I have the Mother’s Day pictures hanging all over my house and always get compliments from visitors saying they are so beautiful, natural and earthy. I recently took my maternity pictures with her and again the results were amazing. She really knows how to work the lens and capture some beautiful images full of love and light.
