If you follow me on social media, you know that rustic locations are my favorite because they really highlight the people in the photographs rather than the backdrop. I will give you timeless, beautiful photos where your family's magic shines.
All outdoor family sessions with me are scheduled around the time of sunset. Light and styling add *everything* to your photos.

Indoor family sessions are so special. If you choose to have the session in your home, the space where you spend most of your time together, there are so many directions we can take. We can include your special routines, family activities that you love to do together like playing games, reading books, making pancakes-- all in the places where they normally happen. Talk about capturing memories!
This family had a smaller home with one amazing window and we spent all of our time there so that I could capture them in beautiful light.
There are also other amazing options for indoor locations that I have up my sleeves. Reach out and we can discuss all the possibilities.

first birthday cake smash
Cake smashes with me are anything but typical... they are a family affair! We start your session off with a normal family session flow (but slightly shortened and with extra photos of the birthday kid). Then we end with a cake smash. The birthday kid gets his/her chance to shine first before the whole family gets to join in.
If you are all about making amazing (and messy) memories with your kids, this session is for you. PS-- I know cake smashes are all the rage for one-year olds, but I am open to any-age birthday session ending with a smash!

When you have a lot of kids, you need to have many diversion tactics up your sleeves to get through pretty much anything-- from a trip to the grocery store to a family photo session. I kept this session light, flexible, and fun... and the kids had a blast.
One option for your family film is to choose a location that is special to you. Your kids will already be happy and comfortable there and everything will be that much more special.

My Family Sessions are called Connection Sessions because they are all about your family interacting and playing together. This is NOT a session where you will be spending a lot of time looking at the camera and smiling. I will help with prompts and poses, but a lot of the time, I am just letting you be together while I am clicking away.

2. planning & styling your session
Once you are locked in for your session date, the fun really begins! I offer all of my clients access to my style guide as well as my membership to Style & Select, a shoppable style guide that helps you choose the perfect outfits for every member of your family-- and purchase items directly from the online stores. There is absolutely no need to stress about what you will be wearing!
I also send my clients a questionnaire that helps me to understand your vision and your family dynamics so that together, we can plan the absolute best family session.
I want you to know that I am here for you throughout this entire process. Right from the start, I offer to all of my clients to hop on a video call. I can explain my sessions, my style, my prices. You can show me the rooms in your home and ask me if I think there is enough light to do an indoor session (I am sure that there is!)
You can send me your outfit choices and ask for a second opinion. You can further explain tips and tricks to get your little one to smile. I am always here to answer any questions or discuss your session with you.
3. ask me Anything
I call my sessions "adventures" because I like to make everything fun. Your session day is here, woohoo! My job is to make everything feel easy. I want you to head home from our session together feeling confident that I captured amazing images of your family and that you had a great time.
Kids will be playing and exploring. And of course, there will be lots of laughing-- regardless of anyone's age! PS-- I even post or send you sneak peaks the day of our session together,
4. let's go on an adventure!
We had our session together and now I know that you cannot WAIT to see your photos! Within one day, I will send you or post sneak peaks and within one week, I will send you your proofing gallery. There, you will choose your images, collection, and any upgrades.
Once you have made your choices and paid your final invoice, I will deliver your perfected gallery within one week and your products, shortly after. I always strive to get my clients their images as soon as possible because I know how excited you are to get them into your hands and homes.
5. your photographs

A non-refundable creative fee covers my time in planning and styling your session. This fee also secures your date on my calendar. The creative fee for family sessions is $250.
After our session together, you will receive a proofing gallery of the best photos, softly edited. You choose your collection, all of which include digital images and prints, as well as a variety of other products.

Kristine was such a pleasure to work with so soon after the birth of our son. She made the newborn photoshoot experience so perfect and amazing. Kristine is amazing! I first met her at the Mother’s Day photo shoot and she took the most beautiful pictures of me and my little one despite us dealing with a cranky baby who had just woken up from a nap :D!
