I hosted my motherhood mini sessions a few weekends ago and they were nothing short of magical. The location at The Paris House in Long Valley was something out of my dreams— with a greenhouse, stone walls covered in ivy, a wooden swing hanging from a giant magnolia tree, a rose garden with a working fountain from France, and a picket-fenced in vegetable garden. My good friend with a green thumb designed and put together gorgeous bouquets for my mom clients (with the dual benefit of being a photo prop and a take-home gift). And my clients know me; I was so excited about the cloudy weather because I do not like shooting in full sun during the day! Cloudy days and sunset nights for me, baby.
All of my moms showed up looking stunning. They understood the assignment and dressed for the vibes of the location. And I was just melting as I watched them love on their babies. The kids loved the beauty around them (and the pet bunny!) It was all so poetic and perfect. If I could just relive that day— I would. Until then, I’ll just swoon over these pictures of these beautiful women and their adorable children.
