k family ~ round 2

So this is kind of funny. I always set the times of my sessions for about an hour and a half before sunset. (First of all, I have to say that I love this family) We were supposed to meet at this location at 4:30 and the mom texted me and asked how mad I would be if they were 15 minutes late. We changed the time, but then life happened and they didn’t get there until probably 10 after 5. I will admit I was getting a little nervous as I watched the sun going down, down, down. As they pulled up and jumped out of the car, I could tell that the mom was upset that things had all happened this way. Well, we did a speed session and it might be one of my favorite galleries ever **** Kids, I do not recommend that you try this at home**** Mother Nature was not messing around that night— and that in combination with this family being so relaxed allowed us to still make all the magic happen.

We recreated one of my favorite dad poses from last year (with dad holding all 3 boys at the same time) and mom and I agreed that we just need to do that every single year. The boys were SO good and cooperative… and just so stinking cute! The youngest has the best squint smile (the middle boy also). You can tell that the three of them have a lot of fun together. It must be so much fun being in a house of boys (and probably also very crazy). I wasn’t kidding when I said that Mother Nature was our friend. The fall colors were absolutely incredible! Mom said that her dress was a last minute switch and I think that was another part of this night that was just meant to be.
