e family ~ welcome, beautiful girl

NJ Newborn Photos

A fellow photographer had reached out to me and asked if I had any spots left to squeeze in a November newborn session. She was having some emergency family issues and was trying to help her clients “re-home.” I actually had ONE spot left that worked out perfectly with the timing that this expecting mama was looking for. So fate brought us together!

When I arrived at the house, I got to meet this sweet little girl (with the most delicate features… she was tiny!) and her big brother and big sister— both of whom were completely smitten with her. They loved taking turns holding her and giving her kisses. The day was cloudy but the house had this amazing big window in the front that let in so much light. I took most of the photos right there! Even when we were doing family photos, I had them sit directly in that light instead of trying to make a couch or bed work. (Luckily they went along with my strange plans) I love the simplicity of these photos— they really highlight the people within them.

Mom was explaining to me that she was second guessing the baby’s name; she had been between two and kept going back and forth. Even as of the date of the session, she was considering the other name. Either way, whether this is Baby E or Baby S, one thing is for certain, and that is that she will be thoroughly loved!
