b family ~ sunset front porch session

BFamilyFrontPorch.jpg

This session has been a long time in coming. Mom had booked one of my Mother’s Day mini sessions back in March and I had to cancel once we all began quarantining. As soon as I announced front porch sessions, she was the first person to book.

We actually ended up doing a Front Porch/Safe at Home session hybrid. She has a huge, open backyard that backs up to a horse farm, so we moved around and were able to use a number of different backdrops for pictures. The beautiful golden hour light streamed into the yard and dad blew bubbles for the boys to pop. I can tell these two brothers, by the way, will be the absolute best of friends. Watching siblings interact is one of my favorite things to do. There was a point where I wanted to grab a few shots of just mom and the baby, so I tried to take advantage when big brother ran off. But as soon as he saw his mom and brother doing something without him, he was back, haha! (Secret tip to getting toddlers to want to be in pictures? Hmmmm)
