c family ~ first communion session

This little girl was supposed to make her First Communion in April and it was postponed indefinitely. I remember when I made my First Communion, many moons ago, I was so excited to wear my dress. When do you get to wear a white fancy dress besides your communion and your wedding day?! The stars aligned and her special day arrived. Naturally, I had to ask her to twirl.

This was a special session for me because I used to work with mom PK (pre-kids) and I haven’t seen any of the members of her family in some time. It was wonderful to reconnect and see her beautiful home and the life that she and her husband have created. I could feel how happy they are and I really believe it shows through the photos.

Younger brother added some spice to our time together since his primary concern was a chipmunk that was digging in their flowers. He rallied for his sister, though, and I could tell he agreed with me when I said how beautiful she looked.
