s family ~ garden maternity session

To say this session was gorgeous would be an understatement. We had beautiful light peaking through the trees, the gardens were in full bloom, and we had some very freshly mowed grass (somewhat of a hay field in the back LOL). It was a little chilly, but luckily this mom-to-be had someone to keep her warm! (well, two someones…baby bump and husband)

This couple was a lot of fun to work with. They made my job easy because they were constantly making each other laugh and poking fun at each other. They were up for all of my crazy ideas and even came up with some great ones of their own!

They reminded me that yes, there was a time in my life when it was just me and my husband and we were cruising through my pregnancy, spending a lot of time wondering about what this new baby would be like (and taking naps and going out with friends at a whim). Babies 2-4 were lucky to get a name (haha, I’m kidding…sort of). I am just so happy for these two future parents. This is one lucky baby, as he is coming into a home with a lot of love. I am hoping the weather works in our favor and I will get to see this family of THREE again in a few months!
