p family ~ newborn-ish session in caldwell

This mom reached out to me because she was never able to do a newborn session for her now-4 months old baby and she wanted to get pictures before it was too late. As a mom, I commend her for making these photos happen because everything does seem to happen so fast. You blink and then your tiny little newborn is turning a year old. To quote one of the greatest movies of all time, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in awhile, you could miss it.”

So not only was this sweet little 4 month old ready for her pictures (including an outfit change!) but she brought along her 2 year old big sister. Big sister was a busy girl. She didn’t really have a lot of time to give me. I think I was sort of a nuisance to her since I kept interrupting her when she was trying to just have a good time and see the ducks. The girls looked so cute together in their little dresses though, so I was fine taking on the role of “annoying photographer.” I’d like to think we still had a great time!
