motherhood mini sessions

Motherhood mini sessions coming in HOT! This year, I am so. so. so. excited to be partnering with Michele at @theparishouse, who will be opening her private English garden up to us. I am talking gorgeous landscaping, pergolas, a timeless wooden swing, and a GREENHOUSE (plus a cute little bunny). Yes, this place is as beautiful and magical as it sounds.

I do not offer mini sessions very often, so here is my “why” for these ones. We moms are always the ones taking the pictures and are rarely actually in them. It is INCREDIBLY important to me to get moms in the frame with their babies (no matter how big those babies are). One day, 30 years from now, when your children are grown and looking back at some of the old photo albums, will you be in those photos? This is your chance to make sure that you are— to show them that you were here, you had a special relationship with them, and that you loved them so fiercely, it was almost unimaginable. You are WORTH this.

I want to make this experience very special for moms— and also as simple as possible. I am excited to announce that I have become a photographer partner with Style & Select, which offers a (superfun) shoppable style guide and takes the guesswork out of what to wear if you are nervous about that. I will work with you to plan the session, we will take beautiful photos together, I will give you a gift to take home with you, and you will have your photos before Mother’s Day 🙂

Moms— pamper yourselves this Mother’s Day! Get some gorgeous photos of you with your babies!! (Dads, read: great gift idea. I speak from experience— this is something moms want.) These are limited, so don’t spend weeks agonizing over the decision, just book and do something for yourself for once 🙂

So here are the facts:

Date: Saturday, April 23, 2022

Time: 3:00pm-6:00pm/ 10 minute long sessions. Pay attention to your time and make sure you arrive early so that you are ready to jump in there at your start time. These sessions are going to move FAST. If your child is the type who takes awhile to warm up to a photographer/new faces, you may want to consider booking a full session with me 🙂 Send me a message and we can set that up! There will be 5 minutes between each session in case we run a tad over, but we will be sticking to the schedule.

What I Get: You will get 5 fully edited images from your session with the option to purchase your entire gallery or even just a few additional photos. You will be given a password protected gallery and the opportunity to choose your five favorites. (I do not give RAW/unedited photos) You will get my Style & Select access code as soon as you book and pay your deposit to help you prepare your family’s outfits. Moms, you will receive a special Mother’s Day gift to take home from the session.

Location: The Paris House in Long Valley, NJ

Cost: $250

A non-refundable deposit of $100 will be required at booking to secure your spot. The remainder can be paid up to the day of the session. You will owe a remainder of $150 by the session date.
