Let me ask you a question.

Are you looking for a way to freeze time?

Do you look at your family every day and wonder why the days seem to be flying? Are you like me and do you tell your kids to stop growing already? (Mine don’t listen) Do you find yourself constantly posting parenting memes about the days being long but the years being short? Do you want an exceptional client experience where the process is simple and seamless, and then a session filled with fun, laughter and adventure? If you answered yes to these questions, then look no further: I am your girl and you can trust me to preserve your family’s memories.

  1. Decide on your session type (below) and then click the “Let’s Chat” button.

  2. I will respond to you as soon as possible and you will choose the date of your session, book, and sign a contract.

  3. You will receive a style guide, access to a styling service, and we will work together to plan the perfect, custom session for your family.

  4. We will have an awesome, fun, memorable session together!

  • My Family Sessions are called Connection Sessions because they are all about your family interacting and playing together. This is NOT a session where you will be spending a lot of time looking at the camera and smiling. I will help with prompts and poses, but a lot of the time, I am just letting you be together while I am clicking away.

These sessions include maternity, family, birthday, and grandparent sessions and can be customized (including cake smashes). If you have a vision, let’s talk about it and make it happen!

  • My newborn sessions are a hybrid of posed and lifestyle. They take place in the comfort of your own home and I utilize natural light. These sessions are ideal for babies 1-3 weeks old.

I work with you ahead of time to plan the session and include 2-3 prop setups, followed by lifestyle images of the baby with the rest of the family (including siblings and pets). I bring all wraps and props with me.

frequently asked questions

  • My sessions include portrait style photos (looking at the camera and smiling), lifestyle photos (your family interacting together, usually with prompts and direction from me), and documentary photos (your family just playing together, as if I am not even there). I love capturing natural connections…and I LOVE finding beautiful light to place you in.

  • Wow, what a coincidence! I wrote a whole blog about this topic 🙂 Read it here.

  • You choose your collection AFTER you see your photos.

  • Newborn sessions typically begin at 9am since that is when I find babies to be happiest and sleepiest. Family sessions typically begin roughly 90 minutes before sunset. You may be thinking, “But my child/baby gets cranky by that time!” My sessions are fun and involve a lot of playing so most kids will be fine during the session. We can discuss this though! There are always options.

  • Since the weather can be so unpredictable, I will most likely wait until the day before the shoot to make a call on whether to reschedule or not. We can move the shoot indoors or we can find another day/time to reschedule for. We can also still plan to have the session in the rain, if you are interested in getting creative.

  • I understand that emergencies come up, kids get sick, etc. Please give me at least 24 hours notice and we will try to reschedule.

  • The difference in quality between photographs taken with professional equipment by someone with an artistic eye for detail and photographs taken on your phone is HUGE! Not to mention, usually a member of the family is the one taking those photos on their phone and is missing from the photos (cough mom cough). I can say from experience, phone photos usually don’t print very well and I definitely would not blow them up and put them on my wall. The photos that I will be giving you are ones that you will want to print and display in your home.

  • I shoot with a full frame Canon 5D Mark iv and my two favorite lenses to use are my Sigma Art 35mm 1.4 and Canon 85mm 1.2.

“So, so happy to have found Kristine! Not only is she a true artist, but so sweet and personable. She made myself and my husband feel comfortable and have fun with our shoots. Kristine shot our maternity and newborn photos, both of which turned out amazing! Cannot wait to work with her again.” -Kaitlyn
